Anytime I want to get away from the insanity of the Grand Strand I will work my way up to Little River where it is a bit quieter and especially when I go to The Brentwood which is a beautiful southern style house made into a restaurant. They have 2 separate bars with the upstairs bar open for Happy Hour on the weekends and the downstairs one for weekdays. They have redone the Happy Hour as they now have a full menu of items that are going to be $5. It is a nice change of pace to see items like Escargot & a Tomato & Chevre Mapoleon on a Happy Hour menu. The drink specials are pretty good, with good deals on most items. If you are into the more upscale Happy Hours then add The Brentwood to the places you will want to frequent.
