With spring and warm weather comes new bars popping up along the Grand Strand and one such new place is the Bourbon Street Bar & Grill in Myrtle Beach. This place was a little bit hard to find at first as it's in a plaza next to Droopys, but it is worth seeking out if you like going to new places. It is a bit on the smallish side so it can seem a bit packed with only a few people in there. Happy Hour crowds are more local business people, but the crowd gets a bit younger later in the night with some live music. They have recently added $4 appetizers to its Happy Hour so they score big with that and they fact that they are now open on Sundays. Everything on the food menu is very reasonably priced and the Ahi Tuna was really good. The drink deals are ok on drinks with 2 buck domestic bottles and getting wine or liquor under 3 bucks is a bonus. What's very popular is the $1.50 Limencello all of the time. If you want to find a nice laid back atmosphere in a new bar then I'd suggest the Bourbon Street Bar & Grill would be the spot you should venture to for happy Hour and also late at night to hear some of their great bands.
