Whenever I go down to the south end, I can never seem to find a bar with more of a city feel to it, but that has changed with the addition of Borgata on Surfside Dr. I have to say right off the bat, that even with the nice more upscale feel to the Borgata, it does not have the high prices that usually accompany such places. The menu has taken has had several overhauls in its exsistance, but always comes at a good price. There is a decent selection of craft and import beers to choose from and I'm sure the ladies can appreciate being able to get their 1st drink for a dollar on Mondays. The Happy Hour crowd is usually pretty sparse when I have been, but the bar is designed to be more of a late night place to go, as they get good crowds especially on the weekends when they open the upstairs martini bar. No matter what time it is I recommend check out Borgata for a new experience on the south end.
