The latest place for me to review is the Baja Grill & Bar in downtown Myrtle Beach in a location that has been several things before most recently Dawg Eat Dawg and one of Marti's various locations. Being just a bit oiff of Kings Hwy makes this somewhat of a hidden gem as the food is delicious there. There are no food specials, but the menu is reasonably priced with burritos, chile rellenos, tostadas, and other Southern California fare. The bar is nice enough as they are still trying to establish a bar crowd, but the main rush is usually during lunch and dinner time for the good food. The Happy Hour is very minimal with discounts on only a few items, but the drink prices are already pretty low and there always is the $1.50 PBR which is always nice. Baja Grill & Bar may not have the best specials in the world, but it is one the better new spots down here foodwise and that alone is reason enough to try out some place new.
