Review

I had been to the Anchor Cafe a handful of times before, but never did a review because they did not have a Happy Hour, but as is the trend these days, all the higher end places are getting a new Happy Hour. Anchor Cafe is located next to the Marina Inn @ Grande Dunes and is opened to the public. It is located in the marina itself with a fairly long walk to get to it right on the edge of the waterway. The view on a nice day is worth the visit by itself. The fact that it is a great bar also will add to its appeal. Prices are a bit up there, but you are in part of the Grande Dunes, so it is to be expected. The food specials provide an ok deal if you are hungry while enjoying the great view. All of the drafts drafts are going to come at a good price at just 3 bucks. If you want a new experience by the water that is tucked away from most of the chaos of Myrtle Beach then you should definitely add Anchor Cafe to your list.
