It's nice to see that most chain restaurants are adopting a Happy Hour and Abuelo's is the newest addition to my list. Upon my first visit the Happy Hour was very average with nothing all that enticing. Then I saw they had changed things up so I had to go back and I'd have to say Abuelo's nailed it. The Happy Hour food menu is expansive as you can make a meal out of it for only a few bucks, plus they go late night with their menu which is an added bonus especially if you're up for $5 fajitas. There is a variety of drink specials to choose from especially margarita and mexican beer drinkers. I was really impressed by the bar at Abuelos. it is one of the longest bars I'm come across in the Grand Strand. If you're craving Mexican and want a cheap margarita and you're at the Coastal Grand Mall then there is no better place for you to go than Abuelo's.
