Review

King Kong Sushi has been around for quite a few years now and even has another location at Broadway at the Beach, but that location has a different set of specials, so I'll save that one for another date. King Kong is actually a very popular place among the college crowd as it is always packed on a weekend night. They have some interesting daily specials with the half off all liquors on Saturdays being the obvious star of the show. The sushi is mediocre, but it battles with inconsistency at times. One time I go in, it will be awesome, the next time.... well let's just say not so much. The Happy Hour itself is fairly non existant with the only special being on house liquors. King Kong sushi is a unique option in Carolina Forest as it has a beautiful bar and setting, is the sushi the best in the world? not really, but Saturday's is probably your safest bet cuz who can really pass up on half off alcohol?
